  • ovate shaped, alternating leaves approx. 100mm x 60mm with longitudinal veins

Flowers

  • produces clusters of lightly fragrant flowers to 5mm all year round

Fruit

  • black, spherical fruit approx. 10mm in size

Human Use

  • Aboriginal people ate the ripe fruit raw

Fauna Use

  • food plant for the larval stages of some butterflies
