Toohey Forest Environmental Education Centre provides day visit programs and activities for all years from Prep to year 12. While the majority of programs require students to visit the Griffith University EcoCentre, select activities are able to be delivered onsite at various school locations across south east Queensland.

All centre programs are delivered by specialist teachers who are committed to the development of students as responsible and informed citizens through scientific literacy.  Improved scientific literacy enables informed decision-making about local, national and global issues.

Please note:

All student documentation (e.g. field booklets, worksheets) is supplied via email prior to your scheduled booking.

Select programs are also accompanied by a number of pre and / or post visit activities to further enhance opportunities for student learning.  Where they are available, the resources are located under the heading 'Program resources' which is on the right hand side of each individual program page.

A copy of the relevant curriculum activity risk assessment (CARA) is available upon request.

Please continue to the 'Our programs' page for detailed information on individual programs, including sample itineraries.
