Bornite

Bornite is a copper ore mineral. The ore is used to produce a high grade copper concentrate that is approximately 35% copper. The mineral is often called peacock ore and is copper-red to brown when it has fresh surfaces but takes on an iridescent tarnish when exposed to air.

Uses

Bornite is used to extract copper.
